A 12-minute walk to USC.

Trojan Court sits on Toberman Street and Portland Street in North University Park, inside the USC Department of Public Safety patrol zone. Here's what's nearby and how long it takes to get there.

Getting to campus

  • Walking: about 12 minutes to the Jefferson Boulevard side of campus.
  • Biking or scooter: about 5 minutes.
  • Metro: the Jefferson/USC E Line station is about a 20-minute walk, with trains to downtown and Santa Monica.
  • Car: most residents don't need one. If you do, we rent three uncovered spaces at $125 a month.

Inside the USC DPS patrol zone

USC's Department of Public Safety patrols the neighborhood around campus, and both Trojan Court properties are inside its University Park patrol area. USC's international student office recommends that students live inside this zone. You can see the exact boundaries on the USC DPS patrol map. Studios, two-bedrooms and every Portland bedroom also have keypad locks.

Groceries, food and errands

  • USC Village (Trader Joe's, Target, restaurants): about a 12-minute walk.
  • Figueroa Street corridor: coffee, quick food and late-night options a few blocks away.
  • Exposition Park: the Natural History Museum, California Science Center, the Coliseum and BMO Stadium, all south of campus.
  • Downtown LA: about 10 minutes by car or one Metro stop past 7th St/Metro Center.
